This classic pair of vintage wood Tubbs skis from the early 1900s was produced for the infamous Horace Partridge Sporting Goods Store in Boston. These are super collectible and have simple mortise and leather bindings. Length - 182 cm (6 ft).

W. F. Tubbs Company was founded by Walter Tubbs in Norway, Maine, in 1906. Tubbs manufactured ash snowshoes, skis, sleds and furniture. The company moved to Vermont in the '40s, eventually settling in Brandon. Another company called 'Vermont Tubbs' still exists there, manufacturing wooden furniture. Although more popularly known for snowshoes, the company also manufactured quality skis. This is one of the pairs they made in the early 1900s.
