1930s Harvey Dodd's Ridgetop Wooden Downhill Skis
Harvey Dodd's invented a ski binding in 1934 and a received a patent Harvey E Dodd's Limited was a Canadian manufacturer of sporting goods, based in Montreal in the first half of the twentieth century. Known as "The Ski People," the company sold a large quantity of skis which were widely renowned for their finely crafted skis. The company reached its peak sales in the 1930s and early 1940s.
