Trucker skis were based out of Aspen, Colorado, and the skis were made by John Lovett in Boulder. This ski was designed by Al Burnham, and its intended purpose was for powder skiing and off-piste powder skiing. When I first moved to Aspen in 1976, I helped Trucker with shipping skis at first out of the US Ski Wax factory in Denver, and then we shipped skis out of the Aspen airport business center location.
This pair of skis is in great shape, and they're mounted with some really nice Ramer bindings. I've always loved Trucker; years ago I hiked and skied many peaks in Colorado with this same combination of skis and bindings.
