This is the smaller of two sizes Vintage Ski World carries for this sticker. Opened in 1965 and located 25 miles north of Durango, Colorado, Purgatory is famous for its stepped mountain and for being a great family ski area. In the summer, it hosts a mountain coaster and various warm season activities. A few years ago, Purgatory changed their name to Durango Mountain Resort - to much public backlash, warranting the name to be changed back to the well-known and iconic Purgatory. Durango is also home to Fort Lewis College, making Purgatory a popular collegiate destination.
