Jean Claude Killy ski racing In Vail. Jean-Claude Killy became the second skier to win all three alpine skiing events at the 1968 Winter Olympics in Grenoble, France. Killy retired from amateur racing at the end of the 1968 racing season. He made a lucrative business endorsing products both in the ski industry and in outside ventures. Killy joined the International Ski Racers Association in 1974 and in that year he competed on the American professional ski racing tour and won the title.
