The ski resort Murren - Schilthorn is really special! One can see an impressive view on the Swiss mountains Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau, from the ski slopes of Murren, as is the highest-altitude ski region in the Bernese Oberland. From the Schilthorn mountain (2973 m), the highest peak in the area, a demanding slope leads down to the ski village of Murren and then continues to Lauterbrunnen. On its way it descends 2000 meters in altitude, so skiers can enjoy steep slopes and long downhill runs.
