Night Driving: Invention of the Wheel & Other Blues Signed by Dick Dorworth

This is an Original First Edition Signed Hardcover of the action-packed memoir by Dick Dorworth called Night Driving. As our friend Dick mentioned on his website, "this volume is hard to find today", but he allowed us to sell some of his signed editions due to his passion for skiing and ski history.

As a honored inductee of the US Ski & Snowboard Hall of Fame, a well-know ski racer, a US Ski Team coach, a world record holder, Director of the Aspen Mountain Ski School, and many holding many more esteemed accomplishments, he has traveled the world skiing. Additionally, Dick is a noted ski journalist, his writing appeared virtually everywhere including SKI, Skiing, Powder, Wild Duck Review, Summit, Snow Country, Mountain Gazette, Men's Journal, Climbing, New West, Mariah and Backpacker. His famous short story, "The Perfect Turn," has been published in both Summit and Mountain Gazette and you can find it as a Signed Paperback Book on our site.

He reports that this book is both a "memoir and meditation on a life in perpetual motion, across the West, down the length of South America. Driving as discovery, of self and the world. Dorworth goes beyond the open road as metaphor, and treats it as a grand stage for energetic action and thoughtful introspection."
