Having opened in 1939, Snowbasin is one of the longest-running ski resorts in the country. It started as the brainchild of a number of people and organizations, including Alf Engen, whose mutual goal was to redevelop the area of forest that Snowbasin would occupy, as it had been overgrazed and deteriorated. After a fairly complex history and a few changes of ownership, Snowbasin would go on to be a host of the 2002 Winter Olympics and Paralympics. If you love Snowbasin, pick up one of these high quality, fine art paper prints to frame and hang in your lodge!
