Flexible Flyer Skis were made by S. L Allen Company from Philadelphia Pennsylvania. In the 1930s after Splitkein developed the laminated ski, S. L. Allen used its Flexible Flyer name to team up with Splitkein to make wooden skis. Splitkein skis were made by many different ski companies under contract with strict construction specifications.
